A small practice that speaks your language

We are a team of three (sample) in Mt Eden, working with Vietnamese-run businesses and families across Auckland.

Our story

Started at a kitchen table

Our founder grew up translating IRD letters for her parents' bakery (sample). After qualifying, she kept doing the same for friends and neighbours, and Sổ Sách Việt grew from there.

Today we look after nail salons, takeaways, builders, drivers and landlords. Some meetings are in English, most in Vietnamese, and many with three generations at the table.

How we work

Three things we hold to

Patient explanations

Every number is explained until it makes sense, in the language you prefer.

Fixed fees

You see the fee in writing before we start. If the job grows, we ask first.

No missed dates

We track your deadlines and remind you a week ahead, by text or Zalo.

Being upfront

What we don't do

We would rather point you to the right person than take on work we are not set up for.

Audits or large company accounts: we refer you to a bigger firm.

Immigration or legal advice: we can recommend people we trust.

Promises about refunds before we have seen your numbers.
